Yahoo! has revamped its search offering again. The revamp includes better navigation, search prompting and the inclusion of hot topics on the main search page.
These factors should give it some distinction between its competitors Google and Microsoft’s Bing but in display only. Remember, Yahoo Search is now powered by Microsoft so what is changing here is only skin deep.
As Yahoo continues to fight for relevance, this latest revamp seems like polishing the facade of a crumbling business.
UK users note: we have yet to this new style appear on Yahoo UK.
