The Times has launched an experimental Tumblr account for its Times Opinion section. The Tumblr is part of the newspaper’s ongoing experiements to expand their social presence. The paper already has a SoundCloud account including an audio diary for Euro 2012 and despatches from Syria.

This innovative use of Tumblr is another example of how brands are looking at Tumblr as an opportunity to expand their social presence to a growing and engaged audience.
